A Bethlehem police officer and school resource officer will be charged with sexual assault for an alleged relationship with a student at East Hills Middle School. The officer faces charges of statutory sexual assault, institutional sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, criminal use of a communications facility, and invasion of privacy.
A school resource officer was placed on paid leave and an investigation initiated after officials received allegations of inappropriate contact with a high school student. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations has been asked to investigate the case.

A 17-year-old girl has been detained at the Maricopa County Juvenile Detention Center following an incident at Westwood High School. She sustained head injuries, cuts, and bruises after being tackled by a Mesa police officer serving as a security guard at the high school. Previously, the girl reported being repeatedly harassed and touched inappropriately by peers to school administrators, who failed to act. The situation escalated when, after seeking help from the security guard who ignored her pleas, she pushed her harasser. The guard responded by forcefully tackling her, leading to injuries severe enough to require hospitalization. The student was received a felony charge for aggravated assault on a teacher and resisting arrest, and misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct.
A school resource officer in Louisiana deployed pepper spray to stop a fight between students during school. Parents stated that their children are now experiencing side effects.
Reports of an assumed intoxicated young person and a subsequent altercation with this young person caused security to contact Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies. The young person, the security guard, and the sheriff’s deputy were treated for minor injuries. The young person was taken into custody.
A Kewaskum police officer assigned as a School Resource officer in the Kewaskum School District, 34-year-old, was found guilty of three felonies, including sexual misconduct by school staff and bestiality charges for allegedly having inappropriate sexual contact with a dog at his Fond du Lac County home. He was sentenced to three years in prison.
During dismissal at Westport Elementary and Middle School, a minor – who has siblings enrolled at the school – entered the premises. The young person, who is not enrolled in the school himself, entered the school when a student opened a locked door and let him inside. When staff questioned the young person, he quickly departed the building. Once out of the building but still on school premises, as the student was walking away from the school, a police officer deployed a Taser. The school stated that they do not believe the young person entered the school intending to harm others.
