A fifteen-year-old Black girl was thrown to the ground by a police officer while attending a Miami Edison football game. When she tried to get back up off the ground, she was thrown to the floor again by the police officer. The girl was close to, but not involved in, a fight between parents and students at the football game. She was handcuffed, arrested and charged with battery on a police officer.

The Rockwall Police Department School Resource Officer injured a student while responding to an “incident” at the school. It is unclear whether the injured student was involved in the incident, but the student resisted being detained by the school resource officer and was injured by the officer during the process.

A safety and security assistant formerly employed at Chopticon High School in Maryland was convicted of sexual abuse of a minor and sentenced to 15 years in prison, with five years to serve for abusing a 15-year-old student at the school in which he worked.
